दृश्यतमिह कायोऽयं घटोऽयमिति दृश्यते ।
स्थूलमाश्रित्य यद्भानं स्थूलं तदिति मन्यते ॥ ३ ॥
The perception here, 'I am a body' (and) the perception 'so this is a pot',
So this is understood as what is vital awareness lodged in the gross.
Commentary
Here vital awareness perceives the body (gross-subjective) and a pot (gross-objective), and is itself lodged in the gross. This state of gross vital awareness is how a person enjoys the gross as stated in the Mandukya Upanishad (verse 3).
