कारणाव्यतिरिक्तत्वात् कार्यस्य कथमस्तिता ।
भवत्यतः कारणस्य कथमस्ति च नास्तिता ॥ ४ ॥
How can the existence of the cause have a distinct difference from the effect?
Likewise being a cause, how is it also non-existent?
