Dr. S. Annapurna, B.A., M.A., B.Ed. and Ph.D

Dr. S. Annapurna worked in Sri Padmavati Mahila University, Tirupati as Associate Professor in Music and retired.

She composes songs, tunes songs, performs concerts in Karnatic Music and presents social, philosophical and religious songs in Janapada Music.

Dr. Annapurna is the wife of Sri J.S.Raghupati Rao, who composes songs on various occasions and gives to her for tuning and singing.

About the Composer: Sri. J. S. Raghupati Rao

Sri. Raghupati Rao is a B.E.(Civil) Retired Executive Engineer from Andhra Pradesh. He is 84 years old.

He is a writer, Philosopher, Social Worker and Ex-Editor of a monthly magazine and presently Editor of "Thakshanam", another monthly magazine to transform the mind for better living.

Sri. Raghupati Rao has written about 65 books in Telugu Language on Buddha, Ambedkar, J.Krishnamurti and other social reformers.

He obtained B.E. Degree from Guindy Engineering College, Madras. After his retirement, he obtained M.A. Degree in English from S.V.University, M.A. Degree in Sociology from Annamalai University and M.A. Degree in Telugu from Ambedkar Open University.

Sri. Rao has established an organization named "Yuvajana Vikas". Presently he is engaged in teaching the students as to how mindset can be changed for better living, free from social, religious and political evils.
